Author's Chapter Notes:

For some reason it's been really difficult to post chapters lately and also when I click on the home button or to read any reviews, it comes up with an error screen, oh well I did manage to successfully post the chapter, so that's something at least.

And if you're still reading, thanks I appreciate it.

CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN

Lincoln and Stuart sat in the back of the car, watching as everyone else made their way into the restaurant. They smiled to themselves and each other as Michael and Sara dealt with the kids.

“You know that we should get in there.” Stuart said after a few minutes of silence. He reached over, placing his hand on Lincoln’s thigh and leant closer pressing a kiss to his lips.

“No we shouldn’t.”

Stuart raised his hand, pressing his palm against the other man’s neck and kissed him again. “Inside, now, before we can’t.”

Lincoln mumbled something against his mouth and then leant back and began to laugh. “You didn’t catch a word of that did you?”

Stuart sat back against the seat and shook his head. “Not a single word.”

“OK, well maybe you should just forget it then, we really should go inside.”

He shuffled across the seat and reached out for the door handle, but before he actually opened it, he turned back to Stuart, leant so close that Stuart could feel his warm breath on his cheek and whispered something in his ear before he climbed out of the car.

“That is not fair.” Stuart called after him. “Damn you Lincoln Burrows.”

Inside the restaurant, Sara and Michael were busy with the kids, while the others greeted the newlyweds before ushering them over to the tables to be seated.

Lincoln pushed his chair closer to Stuart’s and placed his hand on the back of his neck, tracing a small line with his thumb. Stuart tilted his head slightly and gave him a smile.

“Great day.”

Lincoln nodded back. “Yeah it was.”

10 minutes later they started the meal before Gretchen decided she was going to give an impromptu speech.

“OK, I just have to say, that this is not only a first for them, it’s a first me as well, the first time I’ve seen two guys get married, and thankfully Linc and Stu didn’t disappoint on the weird front.” She turned to look at them and shook her head. “What the hell was up with those vows?”

Stuart shrugged his shoulders and then laughed. “Weird right.”

“You can say that again.” She answered. “But I guess it wouldn’t have been your wedding without it. Anyway, as crazy as you make me, I love you both and no other gay wedding will ever match up to this one.”

“Thanks for that Gretchen.” Lincoln said. “Especially the gay wedding part, nicely put.”

She raised her glass and winked at him. “You’re welcome.”

Michael walked over, carrying Lorelei and he handed her to Lincoln. “Congratulations again Linc.”

“Thanks Mikey.”

“You two taking of now?”

“I think so, you know before something else happens and we end up staying for another two hours.”

Lincoln gave his sleeping daughter a kiss on the cheek and then handed her over to Christopher who assured him that everything would be fine.

Lincoln patted his son on the shoulder and the two shared a smile before he left the table, finding Sara and Stuart standing near the front doors.

“Yeah, I think it’s about time we got out of here.” Lincoln said, winking at Stuart who stood just behind Sara.

“We should probably get the kids home anyway.” She answered. She pulled Lincoln into another embrace and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “And don’t worry about Lore, she’s in good hands, as I expect you hope to be tonight.”

Lincoln took a step back and rolled his eyes. “I expected that sort of thing from Gretch, probably Paul, but you?”

She shrugged her shoulders and gave him a sly smile. “Hey, I totally blame it on you, we’ve been around each other for far too long.”

A moment later, she turned her attention to Stuart, giving him a quick hug before pushing him towards the door. “We’ll see you guys in a couple of days.”

Sara waited until they had left and then she made her way over to Michael who was sitting next to the stroller where Caleb was fast asleep. She leant over, resting her head on his shoulder and he pressed a kiss to the top of her head.

“I’m so happy for them Michael. Everything both of them ever wanted, and it all happened today.”

“I know, and I think that just maybe they’ll be alright.”

Lincoln collapsed on the bed and tried to kick of his shoes, but he was exhausted after the day’s events. They were supposed to have left the restaurant nearly 3 hours earlier, but of course they kept getting pulled back into the festivities and they weren’t able to leave.

Stuart walked into the bedroom and threw his coat across the back of the chair near the window. He turned to look at Lincoln, but didn’t say anything, instead he removed his tie, dropping it on the floor at his feet, he didn’t really care about being tidy right now. He took a few steps closer to the bed and kicked of his shoes.

Untucking his shirt, he started to undo the buttons, but he stopped, watching as Lincoln sat up and  moved to the end of the bed, he reached out, placing his hands over Stuart’s and dropped them his side before reaching back up and he finished unbuttoning the man’s shirt.

Standing up, he pushed the shirt over his shoulders, down his arms and let the offending fabric fall to the floor.

Lowering himself, he pressed a trail of kisses down Stuart’s stomach, until he was kneeling on the floor, his fingers grasping at the button and zipper.

“Linc.”

“Don’t say anything.” He responded. “Just shut up and let me fuck you.”

Stuart squeezed his eyes shut as he felt Lincoln grab the band of his black dress pants and pulled them down. Stepping out of them, he pushed them aside before circling his fingers around his husband’s shaft and took him into his mouth.

Stuart sucked in a sharp breath as he felt Lincoln’s fingers digging into his waist, quickly his palm was pressed flat against the small of his back as he pulled him closer.

“Damn it Linc, see what you fucking well do to me.” He placed his hand on Linc’s shoulder, the tips of his fingers digging into his skin.

Several moments passed before Stuart leant forward, both hands pressed flat on the bed. Lincoln stood behind him, unbuttoning his pants, disappearing out of the room for minute before he returned, the box of condoms and lube in his hands. He placed them down onto the bed and removed his pants.

Turning back to Stuart, he rested his hand on his waist, pushing him onto his knees, his forearms resting on the end of the bed.

“Linc.” Stuart moaned through his still unsteady breath.

But he didn’t say anything, instead he knelt down behind him, one hand pressed against his shoulder, he snaked his right arm around the other man’s waist, his fingers trailing a line down his stomach until his fingers once again grasped his partner’s semi hard cock.

Pushing himself against him, Stuart could feel Lincoln’s hardness brushing against his thigh and he tilted his head back.

Lincoln started stroking him and Stu felt a shiver run down his spine as his heart started racing at the contact.

Lincoln dropped his head, running his tongue across the other mans collar bone and Stuart pushed himself further back against him.

“Linc god damn it.”

Leaning forward, he grabbed the items from the bed, producing a small foil packet from the box he ripped it open, sheathing himself before he grabbed the lube preparing his husband to take him.

He grabbed Stuart’s shoulder, pulling him away from the bed until his man was on all fours, one hand on his hip, he guided himself into him.

Stuart drew in a sharp breath as he felt Lincoln increase his pace and supporting his weight on one arm, he grasped himself in his hand and began to stroke.

Lincoln exhaled a deep moan raking his nails down Stuart’s back.

Sara pulled the door shut and made her way downstairs. She carried the baby monitor with her. She found Michael sitting in the living room with a cup of coffee.

“Did they go down alright?” He asked her.

She placed the monitor on the cushion next to him and nodded. Slipping her arm around him from behind, she pressed a kiss to his temple. “They’ll be fine.”

“Are you going to stay up for awhile?”

“Probably, not really ready to go to sleep yet, besides, Paul and Gretchen are in the kitchen.”

Michael glanced towards the kitchen door. “I didn’t even hear them, how did you?”

She didn’t say anything, she just smiled at him before she started walking towards the door.

“You know it’s too bad that they’re here, I had other things in mind.”

“And those things will keep Scofield.” She flashed him another smile before disappearing out of the room.

“So.” She said as she took a seat next to Gretchen. “You two just gonna sit here all night? Where’s the better halves of you?”

“Asleep.” The both replied.

She nodded slightly to herself. “OK then. So where is everyone else?”
