Summary: Seven years ago, Michael and Sara went through an ugly, painful divorce. When circumstances surrounding their daughter reunite them, is there a possibility for reconciliation? Story deals explicitly with some very dark themes, including alcoholism and adultery. However, I can safely promise a happy ending for this one.

1. anniversary by Notanotherjunkie [ - ] (966 words)
I've been wanting to write this since June of '08. It might be too late at this point, but I think I'm going to give it a shot anyway.

The story is told in first person POV (for a few really good reasons), mostly Michael and Sara, but with a bit of input from the other listed canon characters.

More extensive author's notes will follow if I decide that this fic is worth continuing. If so, will probably be about 20 chapters.

2. purgatory by Notanotherjunkie [ - ] (1262 words)
This fic is in a semi-AU setting. Meaning, everything that happened in season 4 (particularly, the fall of the Company, the death of Whistler, the pregnancy), with the exception of Sara’s resurrection, never happened. And everything that was revealed in season 4 (evil Christina Rose, lack of blood relationship between the brothers, the existence of Scylla, Sara being tortured in Panama, details about any of the characters) is no longer canon fact as far as this story is concerned.

Wow! It’s great to get all these reviews! Since I’m not one who normally gets lots of reviews, especially now that the show’s over and fandom’s shrinking, it really means a ton to me, so thank you everyone. I’m sorry this chapter took a long time, but school’s been kicking my ass for the past few weeks. The next few chapters should be coming at a much faster pace.
